Description of the Experience
A guided itinerary designed to accompany participants in discovering the recent history and urban memory of Amatrice, through symbolic places and tools for understanding the territory.
The visit to the Bell Tower of the Hamlets includes storytelling about its origins and its significance for the local community. The scale model of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park serves as a visual tool to understand the surrounding landscape.
The route continues along the edges of the red zone, where the visit becomes an opportunity for reflection on places of memory and urban transformation.
The experience concludes with a visit to the Civic Museum “Floriana Svizzeretto” and the scale model of Amatrice, a valuable resource for imagining and reconstructing the appearance of the historic town.
